Our House Manager

Our House Manager is ultimately responsible for every aspect of your stay at Palacio de Cristal. He will help coordinate transportation to and from the airport, food and beverage purchases, and any activities you care to experience while in Manzanillo. The House Manager also supervises the staff – he will be your Go-To Guy.

The House Manager can also arrange restaurant reservations, tee times, and transportation to sites and activities in the surrounding area.

Our Chef

Our Chef is experienced and has many specialty dishes for you to choose from. Although you don’t have to eat all of your meals at Palacio de Cristal, you might want to! You will receive an extensive list of dishes when you arrive, so that you can start selecting menus for your group meals.

Typical local dishes include Colima Ceviche -named after the state. This dish is light and delicious as it’s prepared with fresh, chopped sailfish or grouper, lemon juice, orange juice, tomatoes, onions, carrots and chili peppers. Other local seafood dishes are: spicy shrimp, garlic-fried lobster, grilled crayfish, and a variety of seafood soups and stews.

Of course, if you would like a burger, steak, or macaroni and cheese, no problem! Please let the House Manager, know of any dietary restrictions we need to be aware of.

You will be responsible for food and beverage costs, but they will do your shopping and cooking for you.

Our Staff

Our Staff will provide cleaning and laundry services during your stay. Many of our guests “pack light” because staff will take care of your laundry three times during your stay (every two days). The property also has extensive gardens, and a filtered water system.

The community of La Punta has its own beach and tennis club, including a clubhouse with locker rooms, showers, outdoor grill and entertaining area. Enjoy a workout, then relax under an umbrella on the beach. Ask our chef to pack a picnic lunch, if you wish!

If you like to golf, you’re in luck! Las Hadas Golf Course is minutes away, and El Corazon Golf Course is just a short 20-minute drive. You won’t mind the 60-minute drive to Isla Navidad Golf Course once you see the fairways and greens along the Pacific Ocean coast. Spectacular!

Deep sea fishing, ocean boat rides, jet skiing, ATV riding and other activities can be booked through our House Manager.

A number of US air carriers fly to Manzanillo (ZLO), and Palacio de Cristal is a 25 minute coach ride from the airport. For a minimal charge, the House Manager can pick you up at the airport as you begin your vacation, and deliver you back to the airport at the end of your stay.

The House Manager will be available to take you to the best local attractions, as well. Transportation services are provided for a fee, and can be arranged in advance.
